Port Washington, WI Sunday Excursion

We had good intentions of going fishing. Arrived at the launch early in the morning and heard the fishing wasn't that great. Seems to be the story for us this year. Not to be dissuaded however, we put the boat in the water anyway!

We side scanned a couple of interesting objects, and Dan went down to dive the interesting boat shaped one! Turned out to be a rock. A boat shaped rock, but a rock nonetheless. He was happy to be in the water anyway, and can now stop wondering about it. (Save the brain cells Sweetie!)

We pushed the boat up on the beach, fixed a couple of Bloody Mary's and sat on the beach while Gretchen played in the water. We did all of this, and still made it to Schooner's before Packer kickoff!

SPECIAL NOTE: We received an email from our friend Tom P. We met him on Big Cedar Lake back in July. Tom spotted us barreling out of Port. He didn't catch any fish either, but hearing from him was fantastic. We look forward to seeing you again Tom!
