Love this picture of the boat. Taken by Eric at the dive picnic. (Yes, that's Dan in there puttering away!)

Boat Quote
And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat
- Lyle Lovett, If I Had a Boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat
- Lyle Lovett, If I Had a Boat
Gretch actually laying down on the boat. I had to take a picture because this rarely happens!
July 26 Close to Home Big Cedar Lake
After one weekend of camping (Which was a blast!) we really missed the boat and had to get on the water! We wanted to try Big Cedar Lake and save the drive to Oshkosh. We discovered that Big Cedar has a flotilla too! WHO KNEW!?
We had a blast and introduced some new friends to the Luda Chris. Had so much fun that I forgot to take pictures!
Lake report: Lots of boat traffic. Jet skis galore. Pontoon haven. Frequent float-bys from Joe Cop. Boat launch was absurd! No parking. Meeting all of those new friends made up for all of it!
Stay tuned... our big birthday weekend trip is coming up.

Dive Trip Two Rivers, WI July 2010
The Luda Chris was out on Lake Michigan this weekend off of Two Rivers, WI to dive the Rouse Simmons, a.k.a. The Christmas Tree Ship.

We estimate we were carrying at least 2500 lbs. worth of extra weight onboard including 6 divers and A LOT of gear. The Luda Chris showed her utility prowess yet again when we encountered a disabled boat on the second dive and towed their 35 footer back to Two Rivers.
Exhausted from all of that work, we shoved her into the sandbar the next day and enjoyed some R&R on the beach.
